Caffeine a mothers life line

A05A9889-15B7-462A-8FE0-57CD55C5E93FEveryone drinks soda, coffee, tea containing caffeine. Its a way of life, everyone seems to be drinking now a-days. I mean who could blame them Its an amazing fizzled, flavorful, cold/hot beverage.

Being a mother of two toddlers, caffeine was a huge part of my life. I literally drank all day, everyday, and if I didn’t have caffeine it left like my head was going to explode. I didn’t wanna do anything or even move, I felt like I was dying. A lot of people think there is no such thing as a caffeine addiction but I assure you that is bot true. I was a major addict to mountain dew, to were I would spend at least $100 on it a month. I could buy 24 cases drink 4 of those, 2-4 six pack bottles, and countless polar pops. My own mother had to run to the store at midnight before just to get me caffeine. I was addicted for a couple of years, even during my second pregnancy. The doctor had me cut back on the mountain dew but because of the headaches, and with drawl symptoms; he had to prescribe caffeine pills to help me with some of the symptoms.

Well today, I have been almost three months without caffeine. I know it doesn’t seem like a big accomplishment to most but for me, it feels like a life time.

Until next time….
